The woman opened an emergency exit on the Boeing 737-86N after it landed in Kyiv and climbed onto the wing ‘to get some air’
A woman passenger decided to open the emergency exit and take a stroll on a plane’s wings, moments after it landed in Ukraine, as “it was too hot” inside.
The woman, who arrived back with her husband and two children from holiday in Turkey, was filmed casually walking on the wing of Ukraine International Airlines plane. She opened an emergency exit on the Boeing 737-86N after it landed in Kyiv and climbed onto the wing ‘to get some air’, Daily Mail reported.

Another passenger aboard the plane said, “The aircraft landed and almost all the passengers got off. She walked almost all the way from the tail to the emergency exit row, opened the door and went out.” The passenger added that her two children got off the plane with other passengers and were heard saying ‘this is our mum’.
The pilot called for an ambulance, police and border guards and the woman went safely back into the aircraft. Confirming the incident, the Boryspil Airport in Kyiv said that the woman was unable to explain to police the reason for her behaviour other than saying it was too hot inside the plane.
The unnamed woman has been banned from flying with Ukraine International Airlines and tests showed she was not drunk, nor on drugs.
