Hamad Al Zaabi, the UAE Ambassdor to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, has congratulated the country on the occasion of its 73rd Independence Day.

“Congratulations to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and all friends in Pakistan on the occasion of the Independence Day and for further progress, prosperity, stability, prosperity and development”, he said in a tweet on his official Twitter account.

Al Zaabi conveyed his felicitations by means of video with a musician playing the Pakistani national anthem on a tabla (musical instrument), paired with the congratulatory message.

Pakistani expats in the UAE marked their country’s 73rd Independence Day on August 14, with many planning to spend their day wearing flag colours and participating in community events celebrating their nation’s birthday.

The flag hoisting ceremony as part of the celebrations was held at the Pakistan Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate in Dubai.
