The video went viral on social media.

The coastal areas of the UAE were flooded on Tuesday following high waves which entered the inland in the aftermath of Cyclone Kyarr.

The Sharjah Police played a great role in helping the families affected by water in the neighbourhoods of Kalba.

The Sharjah Police also shared a video of flooded areas in the emirates on its official Twitter account. In the video, the officials can be seen helping the residents.

Meanwhile, some roads near the coastal areas were closed following high waves that resulted in water entering inland in the aftermath of the cyclone. The flooding comes after the UAE weather department issued an alert regarding rough conditions in the Oman Sea.

The police urged all motorists to use alternative routes until the road is reopened, urging motorists to drive with caution.
