Video: Dubai-based Filipino’s emotional reunion with ailing father – News

He posted the reunion video earlier this month.

A Filipino IT professional, working in Dubai for five years, decided to surprise his father who was recuperating in hospital following a stroke.

Ednicol Macalatan, who flew to the Philippines, filmed his journey and the emotional reunion with his father who is receiving therapy treatment. Macalatan shared the video on YouTube which shows him disguised as a hospital therapist, aiding his father in walking.

Macalatan’s face is not fully visible as he wearing a medical face mask, albeit his father is able to recognise his son as soon as he gets a glimpse of him.

The father breaks down when he sees Macalatan who told his parents that he would not be able to come home, reported TFT.
