Abu Dhabi Police have issued a warning on their social media account to take extra care on roads due to low visibility caused by dusty weather across the UAE on Sunday.

The police took to their social media platforms to urge drivers to abide by the traffic rules for their safety and the safety of others. They also warned drivers against taking videos while they are behind the wheel.

On Twitter, the National Centre of Meteorology, NCM, has called on drivers and pedestrians to take all necessary precautions when on roads due to blowing dust and sand causing poor horizontal visibility.

In a statement today, the NCM, warned of the poor visibility due to fresh winds with speed reaching up to 40kmph over some of internal and coastal areas from 6:30am until 6 pm.
