UAE, Nasa sign deal to train astronauts for International Space Station missions: Sheikh Mohammed – News

Such missions would include space walks and long duration station missions, UAE VP said on Twitter.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday announced the signing of an agreement with Nasa to train UAE astronauts for potential missions to the International Space Station.

Such missions would include space walks and long duration station missions, Sheikh Mohammed said on Twitter.

“The programme will train our youth and astronauts for future missions,” he added.
