Abu Dhabi Police endorsed the warning by urging motorists to exercise caution due to reduced visibility during the fog.

The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has warned there is a chance of fog and deteriorating visibility at times over some internal and coastal areas of the UAE between 2am and 9.30am on Tuesday.

Among the authorities reinforcing the NCM’s warning was Abu Dhabi Police, who called on motorists to exercise caution due to the reduced visibility in the fog.

The force added in a tweet that motorists ‘are urged to follow changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards. Drive safely’.

The rest of Tuesday will be fair and partly cloudy, with a humid evening forecast

The rest of Tuesday will be fair and partly cloudy at times, with a top temperature of 43 degrees in interior areas. Some clouds will appear in the east and north of the country by afternoon.

The NCM says it will be a humid night and Wednesday morning, with the probability of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas.

There will be light to moderate winds, freshening during daytime.

Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
