Trump’s ‘positive for Covid-19’ tweet his most ‘liked’ post ever: Report – News

US President made his bombshell revelation when most Americans were in bed, but his tweet soon went viral.

US President Donald Trump’s tweet about the positive Covid-19 diagnosis for him and his wife Melania has reportedly become his most liked and widely shared post ever.

Most Americans were asleep when Trump made his shock revelation at 12.54am Eastern Time (8.54am UAE).

But, according to MarketWatch, by 5:30 a.m. Eastern (1.30am UAE), the tweet had hit that milestone with more than 273,000 retweets and 344,000 quote tweets (a retweet with a comment attached), along with 834,000 likes.
But by noon Eastern (8pm UAE), those figures had soared to more than 377,000 retweets, 461,000 quote tweets – or, shared more than 839,000 times in total – and 1.4 million likes.

By 2am UAE time on Saturday morning, Trump’s post had attracted a whopping 1.6 million likes and been retweeted over 401,000 times.
