QSL and stars promote League Doha at schools The Peninsula

Doha:  With the third round of the QNB Stars League is set to kick off today, Qatar Stars League (QSL) officials and players visited the Umm Salal Mohammed Model Boys School and Omar bin Al Khatab Preparatory School for Boys as part of a promotional programme.

QSL representatives Nasser Mubarak Al Kuwari and Abdulaziz Ahmed Al Malki were part of the programme which also saw Al Duhail players Ali Jassemi and Fahd Ahmed as well as Al Rayyan’s Argentinian Gabriel Mercado and Ahmed Al Saadi.

The visits were aimed at promoting the Week 3 blockbuster between Al Duhail and Al Rayyan, which will be played at the Al Janoub Stadium on Sunday. The kick-off is at 19:05.

The visits were held in co-ordination with marketing officials of both clubs.

Students interacted with players during the events, which included sports and football activities, encouraging them to display their talents and make optimum use of their abilities towards building their future and serving the community.
