There are plenty of reasons for gamers to rejoice this month.
It’s game on for the first Games and Tech Week Abu Dhabi, an initiative from the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi).
So, what’s in it for gamers?
First of all it’s a community-wide event. which you know, is something we promote (community that is).
The event features the latest in gaming and technology (obviously), immersive experiences and future-forward insights.
You’ll be able to try your hand at the new games, visit gaming activities in malls and hotels, and even choose items on gaming menus at restaurants.
The campaign kicked off last week at the HITB+Cyberweek at Emirates Palace, where the global tech strategists and cyber security experts gathered.
Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) is the next setting for the global e-sports conference XLIVE from 23rd to 24th October and the Middle East Games Con Abu Dhabi 2019 from 24th to 26th October.
It’s all things gaming at Middle East Games Con Abu Dhabi from demoing unreleased games to e-sports tournaments to cosplay competitions and more.
Ali Hassan Al Shaiba, executive director at DCT Abu Dhabi, decribes the Game and Tech Week Abu Dhabi as “ground-breaking.
“It offers a city-wide multi-faceted experience and a deeper understanding of the rapidly growing gaming and tech industries,” he added.
