UAE leaders have witnessed a grand ceremony organised in honour of Emirati soldiers returning from Yemen on Sunday.
Taking to Twitter, the Dubai Media Office said that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates attended the reception.

Earlier, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid hailed the men in uniform as “the sons of the homeland” and “the protectors of the union”.
Lauding the contribution of the UAE soldiers, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed had tweeted on Saturday: “Tomorrow is an exceptionally proud day for the UAE as we celebrate and honour our heroes for their participation in the Arab coalition in Yemen. On behalf of the whole nation, we are grateful for your service and your sacrifice. You truly are the embodiment of the spirt of the UAE.”
