Amidst a festive atmosphere and presence of large audience, Katara Cultural Village continued its diverse activities to celebrate Eid Al Adha.
These events, which attracted different groups and ages and blended interest, entertainment and fun, included military musical performances by the Police Training Institute, characterised by elaborate harmonious play, while children continued their games within the area dedicated to children’s games, which included a variety of games suitable for different ages.
The Thuraya Planetarium will be presented today by the astronaut and will be in Arabic at 5pm and English at 7pm.
Adel Al Ansari, General Supervisor of Eid Al Adha Festival in Katara, said: “We have been keen to provide an integrated festival that includes entertainment and interest, so you notice the diversity of events that suits everyone.”
Al Ansari thanked all the audience who attended the festival. He stressed that the Katara Cultural Village is getting more beautiful thanks to the popularity of visitors and confidence in the festivals, events and activities.
The fireworks at Katara were well received by the public with a bouquet of the most beautiful and innovative artistic exhibitions of fireworks. It is noteworthy that Katara beach is open during Eid days from seven in the morning until sunset for families who love swimming, sea games and children’s games. It allows them to enjoy swimming in the clear waters and relaxing on the golden sands that run along the beach, in addition to various water sports.
