Job Description

BASIC FUNCTIONS:To plan, organize, direct and control the overall operations of the warehouse.Manages stock control, the receipt, storage, retrieval and ensure the timely delivery of goods.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Works closely with clients, suppliers and thetransport companies Oversees inventory and coordinates shipping and receiving processes.Keeps track of the stock levels .Directs and coordinates the product movementfrom the warehouse till the point of sale.Filing all the records and documents pertaining to inward and outward movement of products properly and in a timely manner.Helps in producing periodic stock reports.Monitoring and setting storage space.Makes sure that health and safety standards are met.Implements solutions within designated area of responsibility also should be able to apply experience and expertise to research solutions.Conduct and maintain appraisals as well as communicate feedback in a constructive way.Maintain a strategic working relationship with team and all key departments.Ensure that warehouse is being manage in a systematic and efficient ways to control the overall operations in stock handling and issues of materials keeping in view the economics, security and safety requirements.Should identify suitable training for thewarehouse team.Should assist early-level employees.Communicate the defined warehouse organization policy and scope to all the warehouse staff. And to establish a fast pace working procedure in handling warehouse receiving and delivery operations.Scope of work also covers Uniforms & Safety Equipment, Warehouse Housekeeping, ProperUsage of Office Equipment & Minimize Stationery consumption. Also deal with rejected materials and tools from retail stores, accordingly.  

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business or Logistics or related field8 + years related experience and/or trainingStrong problem-solving, communication.Medium proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet ExplorerHigh level of verbal and written communication skills (Arabic desirable) KEY COMPETENCIES, SKILLS & APTITUDE:Customer Service – Making customers and their needs a primary focus of one’s actions;developing and sustaining productive customer relationshipsFunctional Knowledge: Possessing, acquiring, and maintaining the technical/professional expertise required to do the job effectively and to create customer solutions.Technical/professional expertise is demonstrated through problem solving, applying technical knowledge, and product and service management for the functional area in which one operates.Planning and Organizing: Establishing courses ofaction for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently.Developing team’s success: Actively participating as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals.Communication: Clearly conveying and receiving information and ideas through a variety of methods to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience, helps them understand and retain the message, and permits responseand feedback from the receiver.Decision Making: Identifying and understanding issues, problems, and opportunities; comparing sales to draw conclusions; using effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; taking action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences.Continuous Learning: Actively identifying new areas for learning; regularly creating and taking advantage of learning opportunities; using newly gained knowledge and skill on the job and learning through their application.Delegating responsibilities: Allocating decision-making authority and/or task responsibility to appropriate others to maximize the organization’s and individual’s effectiveness.Innovation: Generating innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities.Problem Solving : Generating innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities
