Spare Parts Supervisor (open vacancy) – Al Kuwait

Job Description

1. Preparation of spare parts and consumables orders as per requirement, ensuring the minimum balance is always maintained.2. Ordering of spare parts.3. Checking and monitoring reconciled accounts .4. Follow-up on parts dispatch through email and courier and customs point for status of the parts dispatched.5. Handling and maintenance of the inventory of spare parts and consumables in the required format. 6. Maintenance of a minimum balance of spare parts and consumables in stock for all parts.7. Spare parts verification and reconciliation with orders, invoices and accounts reconciliation as and when parts arrive and are to be ordered. 8. To conduct a physical verification of parts on hand at least every quarter ensuring that no discrepancies are there in conjunction with Accounts Officer and Senior Accountant. 9. Responsible for procurement of Spare Parts for Equipment and Vehicles.10. Manage Spare parts supply and inventory11. Sourcing of Spares & Co-ordinate with Procurement Dept.12. Monitoring of minimum stock level & Total Inventory Mgmt.13. Read catalogs, microfiche viewers, or computer displays in order to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices.14. Determine replacement parts required, according to inspections of old parts, customer requests, or customers’ descriptions of malfunctions.15. Examine returned parts for defects, and exchange defective parts or refund money.16. Mark and store parts in stockrooms according to prearranged systems.17. Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of machines or equipment.18. Measure parts, using precision measuring instruments, in order to determine whether similar parts may be machined to required sizes.19. Decide on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.20. Implement & follow up the foreign requisitions for spare parts & machinery supplies within the approved budgets that ensure on time delivery with the minimum costs for all items within purchasing cycle.21. Negotiate with suppliers, if needed, to get the most appropriate prices & conditions

1. 5 years experience in the automotive industry2. Computer oriented,3. Excellent in English and Arabic.
