Showrooms Supervisor Job Title: Showrooms Supervisor Division: Business & Development DivisionRole Objective:To run the company’s showrooms successfully by monitoring the financial performanceof each branch. To be responsible for every aspect of the day-to-daysupervision including sales, staff, stock and resources management. To be incharge of the general operations of each showroom by ensuring that it isworking within the company’s guidelines. To be responsible for all aspects ofstore operations and planning, including events like weekly sales flyers andtheir executionand evaluation. To ensure maximum sales, effective cost control and efficient utilizationof labor. To ensure a positive shopping experience for customers and a positiveworking environment for employees. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 1.Training the staff on their assigned roles and areas of responsibility.2. Supervising staff on a daily basis and responding to their queries as andwhen required.3. Evaluating the staff performance on a periodic basis to analyze value additionto the business. 4.Motivate staff to maximize profitability and meet sales targets.5. Develop, update and maintain the job descriptions for all functionswithin the department6. Oversee department staff to ensure they are held accountable for theirassigned areas of responsibility7. Create an atmosphere that ensures positive store morale through effectivesupervisor treatment and recognition. The workforce should be enthusiastic,guest focused and embedded in a selling culture.8. Prepare monthly and annual staff projections to achieve budgetedpayroll percentage.9. Deal with customer queries and complaints10. Provide for desired levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring staff courtesyand service  throughout their stay.11.  To lay special emphasis on front-end service commitment during entryand exit of customers.12.  To build good customer relations and ensure return visits.13.  Walk in stores regularly to ensure an organized, sanitary, and overallclean appearance at all times14.  Oversee pricing and stock control 15.  Ensure that selling prices are competitive by keeping a regular checkon the competitors16.  Anticipate highs and lows in the business and strategize accordingly.17.  Protect company assets: merchandise, cash, facilities and equipment.18.  Monitor cash management for the stores by approving approval of allstore expenses before they occur.19.  Monitor and control store variable expenses.20.  To arrange audits for inventory as and when required.21.  Assist in the preparation of promotional materials and displays incoordination with the Marketing & PR Officer.22.  Coordinate all store events including executing weekly sales flyersmerchandising plans and other marketing promotions23.  To align with other cross-functional departments on exchange of businessinformation or updates on product issues.24.  Develop, update and maintain the policies and procedures for the department25.  Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures26.  Maintain stores sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with locallaws and best practices.27.  Develop, update and manage the business plan / budget on a daily,weekly and monthly basis.28.  Develop statistical and financial reports related to the branches’performance and present to management as and when required.29.  Accountable for achieving budgeted financial result. Education Qualifications,Skills and Knowledge 1.Bachelor’s Degree from areputed university.2. MS Office: Good knowledge of Excel and Power point for reports andpresentation.3. Languages: Excellent verbal and written English and working knowledgeof Arabic4. Leadership skills in managing a team.5. Ability to motivate others.6. Capability to prioritize and meet deadlines.7. Ability to multitask and have excellent organizational skills.8. Team player while working in a cross-functional team9.  Excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with people from differentnationalities.10.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills11.  To be flexible and ability to adapt to the changing retail environment.12.  Must have the ability to analyze and create action plans for financialstatements.13.  Positive mental attitude and self-driven                Experience:1. Minimum 7 years preferably within a retail showroom.
