Manager -Sales MEP at GULF ENGINEERING COMPANY – Al Farawaniyah

GENERAL SUMMARY:Manage and achieve sales of all MEP projects.1.Follow up and Collect tenders from Government and private sectors, study the contractual, technical & commercial tips and give his advice to estimation team.2.Supervise and review the technical & commercial preparation and presentation of proposals, for sales and responsible for executing conceptual estimating, compliance to tender documents, cost analysis and estimate, coordination and consolidation, proposals preparation and submitting.WORK ACTIVITIES1. Researching and gathering all the relevant details about the new projects in the market and track all requests and follow with successful Main Contractors or directly with Clients.2. Obtain documents and seek all clarifications for contradicting discrepancies and missing information by raising queries.3. Prepare detailed cost comparison and conduct meetings and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.4. Checking compliance of estimated cost as per tender specifications, drawings, BOQ, Conditions of contract, Minutes of meeting, Answers to queries etc.5.Conduct market intelligence to support Management decision in Bidding.6. Perform and prepare risk analysis and models.7.Conduct market services to stand on the market volume with establishing the company’s market share against competitors.8. Verify and study the competitor’s profile.9. Prepare the SWAT analysis of the company.10. Build and establish good connections with consulting offices, contractors, Real estate and investors.11. Prepare/assist in preparation of technical & commercial proposal, cash flows and working capital analysis.12.Assist in the preparation of Project Profitability Summary.13. Ensure lessons learned are incorporated appropriately into the estimates.14. Review modification of standard estimating templates.15. Develop new techniques as required to meet specific needs.16.Participate in and contributes to Value Engineering studies.17. Manage proposal / tender strategies with joint venture partners as applicable.18. Negotiate with Clients & finalize contracts as per procedures laid.
