Policies & Procedures Implement and maintain Reinsurance underwriting policies and procedures to achieve department objectives.Reinsurance Processes Do research on potential reinsurance companies and communicate about the terms / conditions, treaties of reinsurance agreements, and prices and conditions for facultative risk to assist in decision making. Prepare reinsurance contracts, and ensure their conformity with all agreements with the insurance companies. Check and put recommendations regarding incoming re-insurance requests for insurance policies from underwriting departments aligned with the treaty limit and follow up regarding the process of re-insuring those insurance policies. Make report about the premium distribution among the contracted re-insurers. contact re-insurers in the event of a claim, highlight the calculation of liabilities of Company and re-insurers pertaining to the claim (as per the agreement), and coordinate the re-imbursement process with the Finance department as well as re-insurers.Reports Preparation Develop the required reports on the reinsurance department (Statistics, risk profiles, statistical results, top risks, major losses, etc..)and submit it to the CEO.Market Intelligence Monitor the market trends and follow up the developments in the international insurance markets.
