How non-Muslims support their fasting friends during Ramadan

A tweet recounting kind gesture of a Dublin hotel has triggered a string of touching stories from Muslims around the world.

A tweet recounting kind gesture of a Dublin hotel during Ramadan has triggered a string of heart touching stories from Muslims around the world. A Twitter user named Hemant Buch decided to share how his Muslim colleague was surprised to receive a whole breakfast buffet when he had asked the hotel he was staying at for a light Suhoor snack.

According to Stepfeed, Buch wrote on Twitter: “A Muslim colleague asked our hotel if they could give him a snack before he began his fast. They said ok, please come down at 2.30 am. When he went, he found a full buffet breakfast laid out. The hotel said it was the least they could do.”

Buch’s tweet went viral with thousands of Muslims sharing their stories about heartwarming gestures by non-Muslims during the holy month. One Twitter user named Babar Ahmad shared his story and said how his 14-year-old nephew’s teachers, who were non-Muslims, woke up at 3:00 am to prepare food for 10 fasting boys during their school field trip.
