Haj will be held with limited number of pilgrims: Report – News

Some 2.5 million pilgrims visit the holiest sites of Islam in Makkah and Madina for the week-long Haj.

This year’s Haj will be held with “very limited number of pilgrims”, Arab News reported on Monday. The numbers are limited to ensure the safety of pilgrims, the publication quoted the country’s Ministry of Haj as saying.

Some 2.5 million pilgrims visit the holiest sites of Islam in Makkah and Madina for the week-long Haj, a once-in-a-lifetime duty for every able-bodied Muslim who can afford it.
