Free sharing library opens at Abu Dhabi café

Good news for all Abu Dhabi’s bibliophiles!

Cosy coffee shop Fifth Street Café has opened a free sharing library to the public.

Visitors hankering for a cup of hot or cold brew can also browse through the selection of books donated personally by café staff and customers before settling comfortably to chill.

The café is also calling out for book donations to boost its line-up of reading materials.

All genres are welcome so feel free to leave a few old paperbacks behind, thank you.

If that fails to quench your appetite for books, check out these public libraries carrying loads of English and Arabic tomes.

And in case you missed the news, the Abu Dhabi Children’s Library, in Qasr Al Hosn complex, is set to open on 4th September.

Fifth Street Café, The Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center Abu Dhabi, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street. Daily 7am-11pm. Contact: 02 698 2255, diningatcourtyardmarriottabudhabi.com
