The patients and their relatives expressed their sincere gratitude to Yusuf for his kind gesture.

Emulating the principle of giving by the late Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Emirati businessman Khalid Abdullah Yusuf gave Dh220,000 for the treatment of 164 poor patients.

The patients, who couldn’t afford the expenses, received treatment from the Sheikh Khalifa Speciality Hospital.

Having heard about the plight of these patients from different nationalities, Yusuf decided to pay the entire treatment expenses.

“This is the least anyone committed to his country, people, and the principle giving imparted by the late Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, can do,” Yusuf said.

The patients and their relatives expressed their sincere gratitude to Yusuf for his kind gesture.

“We are so grateful to this kind man for his exceptionally kind heart,” one of them said, praying to the Almighty to reward him.

“The money he paid has ended our suffering because we did not know how to pay for our treatment.”

The management of Sheikh Khalifa Speciality Hospital received a cheque of Dh220,000 from the Emirati businessman and is sufficient to cover the treatment expenses of the 164 patients.
