If the vehicle is not attended to before the deadline, the municipality will remove it.

Dubai Municipality has announced that they have changed the procedures for removing abandoned vehicles in the city.

According to a video posted on their official Instagram page, a text message will be sent to the registered owner of the abandoned vehicle notifying him to remove it.

If the vehicle is not attended to before the deadline mentioned in the text message, Dubai Municipality will remove the vehicle.

The procedure is being put in place to not just preserve the beauty of the city, but also to reserve and respect the rights of the city’s residents to park.
