Dubai Police honour cab driver for returning money bag – News

A passenger had left the bag behind in Khor Fakkan.

Dubai Police have honoured an honest taxi driver after he handed over to the police a bag a passenger had left behind in his taxi in Khor Fakkan.

The bag belonged to Bismark Ferreira, a Brazilian football player who plays for Khor Fakkan.

“When I saw the money bag left on the back seat I immediately rushed to the police station and handed it over to them,” the driver Muhammad Nazem said.

“They told me they’d get in touch with me later,” Nazem, a Cars Taxi driver, added.

“Two days later, I was surprised to see a Dubai Police delegation at my workplace, honouring me in front of my superiors and fellow drivers. I felt really proud of what I had done,” he said in a video released by Dubai Police.

Nazem called on the community members to hand over any lost items that they find immediately to the police.
