The police received a missing report from the mother 45 minutes later.

The Dubai Police have reunited a four-year-old child with his family after he was found alone and lost in Mirdif area.

A passer-by spotted the small kid crossing a road all by himself. The man monitored the child for a while, and on finding that he was completely alone, the Good Samaritan brought him to the police station, said Lt Colonel Aref Ali Muhammad, deputy director of the crime prevention department at Dubai Police.

The police couldn’t find any missing reports about the lost child, who looked very scared and continued to cry desperately. The police tried to pacify him with toys to play with.

Around 45 minutes later, the police received a missing report from the child’s mother. After carrying out investigation to verify all facts, the police handed over the boy to his family members.

The police called on all parents to keep a constant watch on their children and pay attention to their activities, especially outdoors.
