Dubai fines 5 businesses for breaking Covid-19 rules; shuts down one place – News

Authorities have intensified inspections in the emirate to ensure precautionary measures are followed.

Dubai Economy fined five establishments and issued warnings to seven shops for not adhering to Covid-19 precautionary measures on Tuesday.

Officials found 731 businesses to be compliant with preventive and precautionary measures. Violating businesses were caught during Dubai Economy officials’ inspection visits conducted daily as part of steps taken to limit the spread of the virus. 

Dubai Economy has urged the public to cooperate and report any violation through the Dubai Consumer app.

Meanwhile, Dubai Municipality closed a laundry for failing to follow precautionary measures. DM fined six business while issuing 53 warnings.
