Do returning Dubai residents require Covid-negative certificate? Emirates clarifies – News

Dubai travelers need to take a PCR test and remain in their residence until receive the test result.

Dubai residents will not require Covid-negative certification when returning to the UAE, according to a clarification issued by Emirates Airlines on Monday.

The airline offered the update via its social media page, saying, “Based on the latest update we have, residents with Dubai-issued visas aren’t require to carry any Covid-negative certificates.”

The clarification addresses the announcement by the UAE government that stated all UAE residents currently stuck abroad and wanting to return must furnish a Covid-negative test from an accredited laboratory in order to board flights to the UAE.

It is noteworthy that travelers to Dubai need to take a PCR test and remain in their residence until they receive the test result.
