Customs Officials Aborts Drug Smuggling Via King Fahad Causeway

The Customs Department officials successfully aborted the smuggling of drugs via King Fahad Causeway.

The reports stated that big quantities of cannabis and a number of drug pills were smuggled in a car bumper.

In the inspection, the officers suspected that cannabis was hidden in the front bumper of the vehicle as the dog gave an indication during the routine patrol on the passenger’s yard.

The Director of the Department of Customs of Land Ports in Customs Affairs pointed out that the seized materials have been transferred to the Anti-Narcotics Department of the General Directorate of Investigation and Criminal Evidence to take the prescribed legal procedures
