Omanis have to provide a negative test result as well as undergo a test on the border.

Oman’s citizens will be allowed to enter the UAE through land border entry points starting from November 16, without prior approval from the ICA.

The National Authority for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship in coordination with the Ministry Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Friday announced the exemption of Oman citizens from obtaining the ICA approval, allowing them to freely move through the country’s border check points with Covid-19 precautionary measures.

Omanis entering UAE will be required to present a negative Covid-19 (PCR) test result received within 48 hours from the time of entry.

The test result should be from accredited laboratories in tthe Sultanate of Oman.

They will undergo another Covid-19 test on arrival at the UAE entry point.

The citizens must follow all safety and preventive measures according to UAE’s approved guidelines, in addition to installing the Al Hosn tracing app.

Visitors from the Sultanate of Oman are obligated to conduct a PCR test on the fourth day after entering the UAE – for those staying in the country for four consecutive days.
