Coronavirus in UAE: Sheikh Mohammed launches campaign to thank healthcare workers – News

Dubai Ruler thanks the first line of defence.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has launched an online campaign to thank medical staffers and healthcare workers in the UAE.

Taking to Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed invited everyone to thank doctors, nurses, paramedics and hospital administrators.

“Thank you first line of our defense. Thank you for your sacrifices and your watchfulness for the sake of the country,” the Dubai Ruler tweeted.

“You are the protectors of the homeland today and its loyal fence and soldiers. I invite everyone to thank them and appreciate for their continuous efforts,” he said.

He also shared a hashtag in Arabic, translating to “Thank you our front line of defense”.
