There are currently 29 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 100 cases receiving treatment.
The Bahrain health ministry has reported 672 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 245 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 83 were among expatriate workers, 588 were contacts of active cases, and one was travel related. One new death was reported. The death toll stands at 203.
As many as 12,337 Covid-19 tests were carried out on September 9, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 51,819.
