There are currently 59 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 137 cases receiving treatment.
The Bahrain health ministry has reported 574 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 718 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 167 were among expatriate workers, 399 were contacts of active cases, and eight were travel related.
One new death was reported. The death toll stands at 246.
As many as 11,303 Covid-19 tests were carried out on September 29, the ministry said. The total number of recoveries stand at 64,267.
