There are currently 61 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 115 cases receiving treatment.
The Bahrain health ministry has reported 510 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 712 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 159 were among expatriate workers, 343 were contacts of active cases, and eight were travel related. Three new deaths were reported. The death toll stands at 254.
As many as 10,821 Covid-19 tests were carried out on October 1, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 65,550.
