There are currently 42 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 93 cases receiving treatment.
The Bahrain health ministry has reported 371 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 408 recoveries.
Of the new cases, 95 were among expatriate workers, 267 were contacts of active cases, and nine were travel related. Three new deaths were reported. The death toll stands at 292.
As many as 11,127 Covid-19 tests were carried out on October 16, the ministry said, taking the total number of recoveries to 73,421.
