Amitabh Bachchan had earlier been criticised for filming Kaun Banega Crorepathi during lockdown
At 77, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has shown the world that age is truly just a number and if the mind is willing, so is the body.
Not only has the superstar kept himself busy during the current lockdown with a video shot at home telling people in so many words, ‘This too will pass,’ his voice-over was part of Salman Khan’s recent pre-recorded live charity show as well.
Even as reports did the rounds that he had been admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday evening, the actor who is extremely active on his social media platforms, took to his Twitter handle to confirm that he had indeed tested positive.
And most importantly urging everyone who had come in close contact with him in the past ten days to get themselves checked as well.
T 3590 -I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited ..
All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested !

Interestingly the actor had been criticized for filming Kaun Bangea Crorepathi 12 amid the lockdown. The actor had at that time taken to his blog to assert that all necessary precautions were taken during the shoot.
“So yes I worked. Got a problem with that, keep it to yourself then. Damned if you pour it out here in this locked in condition. Sufficient precaution, as much that could be taken, was taken. And what had been scheduled for two days, was completed in one day. Starting 6 pm, ending a short while now,” Bachchan wrote.
Referring to people’s query on how the new season will be shot, Big B wrote: “Personal gratifications to the many that ask .. and then the KBC pile of several.. in all about 10 to 12 videos and then hours of audio recordings .. also for the same, KBC .. and the speculation as to how they shall conduct it .. there have been no definite answers for that .. but the authority hopes well and long .. so ..”
