Ban lifted on expats recruitment in medical posts

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 14: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has lifted the ban on the recruitment of non-Kuwaitis to fill up 193 medical posts in the Ministry of Health, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily obtained a copy of the Ministry Diwan’s letter stating that these vacant medical posts include 42 doctors, five pharmacists, 13 technicians and 133 nurses. The CSC had earlier issued a directive not to fill up these positions until the end of the specified period.
