Bahrain: Remains Of Dead Animal Mistaken For Newborn Baby

“It is the remains of a dead animal, not a newborn baby,” stated Muharraq Governorate’s Police Directorate on its social media accounts.

This statement came in response to an image that was widely circulated on social media claiming that the body of a newborn baby was found near a mosque in Arad.

The governorate police in cooperation with the crime scene and forensic crew carried out an inspection.

The inspection clarified that the remains were that of a dead animal and the cause of death is yet to be determined.
