Gulf Air, the National carrier of Bahrain has welcomed its third Airbus A320neo, which on October 26 will begin operating to Male in the Maldives, the airline’s latest destination.
“We are proud of this fantastic milestone as we continue with our brand promise in expanding our fleet along with our network,” said Krešimir Kucko, CEO at Gulf Air.
Gulf Air will operate five weekly non-stop flights from Bahrain International Airport. Gulf Air said its A320neo is more eco-friendly with 5,000 tonnes less CO2 emissions per year per aircraft, and a near 50 percent reduction in noise.
