The Director of Traffic Operations and Control announced that legal steps had been taken against 103 drivers for transporting students without licences, endangering the safety of the students.
The official urged parents to chose licensed drivers to provide transportation needs for their children.
He highlighted that the school bus drivers should issue the annual licences, and their vehicles should be inspected.
Authorised drivers take part in specialised training courses on the safe transport of students and other safety rules, he added.
