The President of the Republic of The Gambia, Adama Barrow, who is currently visiting the country, met yesterday at his residence with Attorney-General H E Dr Ali bin Fetais Al Marri.
The meeting focused on exchanging views on a number of issues of joint interest, in addition to discussing ways to enhance cooperation in the legal and judicial fields.
Al Marri also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Gambia’s Minister of Justice Abubacarr Tambadou in the field of public prosecution.
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between the two sides in the field of exchanging information, laws, and criminal justice systems. It also aims to provide training in high-priority fields for the two sides.
