‘Allocate land for newspapers’

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 14: The Ministry of Information has asked Kuwait Municipality to allocate land measuring 10,000 square meters for newspapers, non-daily magazines, satellite channels and media services, reports Al- Qabas daily.

In its letter to the Municipality, the ministry said the requested land should be located in Ardiya or any other area as it intends to distribute plots to a number of beneficiaries for the purpose of providing media services and to support private media outlets
