The Warehouse specialist will be responsible for the setup, receipt and kitting operations to support the deprocessing of 218 M1A2K tanks. Duties will include but not be limited to the warehouse set up to include office space, racking and shelving setup in the warehouse. Must be able to operate material handling equipment to get containers from port to sunshades to kitted supplies in the warehouse. Experience in the MENA region is preferred. The Warehouse Specialist must be able to account for over 5,000 lines of unique spares and equipment to include radios and weapons. Conduct 10% inventories monthly and kit material into unit sets. Additional duties include port operations on a bi-monthly basis requiring interface with the KLF transportation corps, customs and port leadership at the kuwait port. Must be able to lift 80 lbs., operate a forklift, obtain a driver license, and be physically fit.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Strong supply support background is a must to include setting up a warehouse operation, spares accountability and supporting Contract Logistic Support (CLS) maintenance operations in the field.
Knowledge of Kuwait port operations and clear background to be able access to Kuwait Land Forces (KLF) bases is mandatory.
Gold Software and other inventory type tools preferred.
Strong maintenance, logistics and military experience preferred.
Material Handling Equipment Experience and License
High School Education required, knowledge of English mandatory, Arabic optional
Military Combat Vehicle Experience preferred
Overseas Experience in Kuwait preferred
