As the go-to person for all things digital, this role provides a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital marketing by building the optimal digital ecosystem and developing the digital strategy. It requires an ambitious, hard-working individual who can think strategically, communicate effectively and is prepared to roll their sleeves up and work hands-on day-to-day. The role sits with the CRM and Digital team who will be the custodians of customer insights and behavior and complete digital customer experience. Included in the responsibilities of the role is to manage the various social media channels with an agency ensuring custom engagement is high with innovative and inspirational content that is on brand.
The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to
Ensure key tools are in place for the optimal digital customer experience and campaign performance.Work closely with the CRM and Loyalty team to ensure accurate customer targeting.Responsible for managing significant digital marketing projects ensuring that they are delivered within the budget and scope.Develop performance marketing campaigns across a range of channels such as paid search, Facebook / social media ads and monitor and optimize channels.Conduct audits and develop A/B testing ideas and test targeting and creative variations for performance improvements.Measure performance against ROI and KPI targets.Experience with social media community management with an eye for engaging content.Work closely with stakeholders and agencies on regular basis to review website performance and ensure integration of insights into digital marketing strategy.Review & report on analytics for website, social media and digital advertising with stakeholders.Work closely with the rest of the internal teams as well as external partners to optimize online content and improve conversion rates.Identify new channels and opportunities for growth and test their effectiveness.Ensure website content is up to date with all the relevant market information
4+ years of experience in online marketing -preferably in the FMCG or retail sector.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, mass communications or other advertising subjects is a plus.Strong analytical skills, proficiency in self-serve platforms such as Google analytics, Adwords, Facebook, 3rd Party Networks.The ideal candidate knows how to build and scale complex online campaigns across different channels, uses their insights to think up creative solutions, and brings the analytical expertise necessary to optimize performance.Project managed the build of a corporate website and overseen the optimization and maintenance thereafter.Strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to convey complex analysis results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders.
