Job Description

The Administrative Assistant, Senior, will be responsible for the successful management support to the Site Manager and Human Resources lead of Contract Logistic Support Program (CLS). Duties will include but not be limited to successful interaction with the customer, senior staff (US Nationals) and Other Country National (OCN) work force on site.  Work experience in the Middle East is preferred as well as experience in the defense industry. The Administrative Assistant must be able to run a small office staff, manage calendars, work staff, answer calls, respond to vendors, and perform any logistics functions to keep the office functioning in an austere environment.  Detailed filing, managing correspondence with the customer and the development of presentations will be required.  English language skills must be exceptional as well as a working knowledge of Arabic if possible. 
Responsibilities and Duties
·         Schedule and coordinate meetings internally and externally
·         Write and forward e-mails, letters, correspondence memos and related forms
·         Provide support to the management with day to day tasks as per the instructions
·         Perform all administrative tasks and duties, data entry and data management as required
·         Manage documentation, filing, and archiving of necessary documents
·         Ensure compliance with business standards and guidelines

Skills

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
Verbal and written communications, must be able to write formal letters error free in English, develop Presentations in PowerPoint and develop spreadsheet documents for scheduling and budgeting purposes. 
Must be able to order supplies on the local market for office support. 
Prerequisites
Bachelors Degreed preferred, however, 10-15 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Must be skilled in MS-Office products, MS-Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project. 
Experience in Oracle, People Soft and Concur a plus.  (Can be trained).
Overseas Experience in Kuwait or the region is preferred.
Must pass a background check.
