Job Purpose: Manage the Satellite banking application to maintain core code and functions, implement changes as per business requirements and in conformance with the change policy and quality standards and evaluate/research system developments in the local and regional market. Seek services from External Vendors, QA& ISS and IT Ops team. Vendor Management. Enforce compliance and governance.
System, Vendor and Business Management
Ø First line of responsibility for the Satellite Banking solution- its effectiveness, relevance and innovation
Ø To manage the delivery of business changes
Ø Support business to understand and prioritize their requirements, explore and explain alternative options and translate them into technical specifications
Ø Production System Support – Bug fixing, level 3 Satellite system support.
Ø Obtain updates/changes and arrange for implementation.
Ø Provide work schedule with time lines
Ø Obtain requirements from Business groups.
Ø Analyze business requirements in the CR and coordinate with vendors for development and delivery
Ø Test and evaluate patches received from vendors before submitting for UAT
Ø Conduct Pretest with users – Demonstration to the users on new and upgraded software / patches received from vendors.
Ø Support during UAT
Ø Diagnosis & Investigation of issues or changes
Ø Ability to design a solution based on agreed IT architecture
Ø Ability to understand Business requirement document and recommend changes and system enhancement
Ø Work fully within risk policies & procedures and all compliance regulations
Ø Work as per the IT policies and procedures following the change management etc.
Ø Manage the technical team/vendor and their development goals
Education / Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
§ Applications with knowledge of Java, SAS, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle database and application server and application tools like Business Objects.
§ Candidate should have dept knowledge on the SAS applications, RFW, MIP and SaS languages.
§ Sound techno-functional knowledge banking concepts and how they lend to system design and operation for risk, finance and compliance aspect. IFRS9 & IFRS16 knowledge.
Experience: 4+ years in IT and 2+ of similar experience
