Purchasing Specialist at Food Choice General Trading and Cont Company – Al Farawaniyah – Kuwait Jobs

Job Description

· Design and maintain all vendor reports and evaluate all issues and assist to prepare all data reports for all purchasing systems and manage all buying trends.
· Evaluate all purchase orders and ensure accuracy in all SKU and product plans and maintain track of all receipts from various locations and maintain an efficient packaging guide according to vendor regulations.
· Collaborate with purchasing team to ensure compliance to all shipping dates and deadlines and maintain satisfaction of all consumers and monitor delivery of all products according to schedule and maintain quality standards of all products.
· Coordinate with vendor to maintain labeling on all product.
· Collaborate with internal and external certain suppliers and manage all pricing and availability of all products and develop purchase order for all purchasing system and manage all communication.
· Create purchase orders and monitor all open orders
· Deliver a weekly, monthly purchase order report to management for all closed purchase orders
· Work with inventory management team to ensure all deliver to satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products
· Maintain proper inventory levels of products
· Assist with all purchasing activities relating to cost, quality and service also provide guidance and cost-planning strategy
· Assist with the timely and accurate purchase and delivery of the order and track information relating to purchased items
· Assist with monitor supplier and inner sales performance
· Assist with forecast departmental operating costs and prepare monthly and annual budgets
· Ability to work well with others including Team Members and customers
· Promote team orientation and a good work ethic
Perform other related duties as requested


Ø  To handle A TO Z activities of procurement
Ø  Command over English and good communication skills, negotiating power
Ø  Little knowledge of Arabic
Ø  Knowledge to work with various system applications
Ø  Knowledge of Logistic, shipping matters
Ø  Knowledge of Custom formalities and Health procedures
Ø  Knowledge of cost calculation
Ø  Knowledge of Bank procedures
Ø  Preferred a person with food industry background
Ø  Experience 2-3 years in an international procurement department
