Collaborates with concerned parties towards setting Division long and short term goals ensuring compliance
Reviews all financial reports and other performance data to determine areas needing cost reduction and/or process improvement.
Reviews current credit policies/procedures and suggests changes to Executive Management to enhance the credit standards.
Conducts credit risk reviews in accordance with CRR policy and procedures.
Provides consultative feedback to Relationship Managers/Underwriters and Business Unit Managers relative to credit/loan quality issues arising from reviews.
Calculations and analysis for credit and investment proposals, including:
Pre-fact analysis focused on compliance with regulations stipulated by credit approving authorities and in regards to counter party bank limits and country limits.
Risk grading and risk-return (Risk Adjusted Return in Capitals) calculations.
Performs post fact analysis of selected credit exposures.
Coordinates with External Consultants to discuss new financial models, and with Rating Agencies and Correspondent Banks to discuss Bank’s risk profile.
Evaluates effectiveness of management processes in the various portfolios, and based on results, proactively recommends changes.
Identifies and initiates steps necessary to improve the credit valuation process and collect reference material for Management.
Ensures Client satisfaction with related products and services to ensure quality excellence and superior provision of service.
