KUWAIT CITY, July 13: Personnel from the General Department of Drugs Control are looking for an unknown person who is likely to have been a truck driver who has dumped about 26,000 Captagon pills inside Abdali customs area, reports Al-Anba daily.

A security source said securitymen are checking the CCTV footage to identify the suspect and refer him to the judiciary. The daily added, the pills were found inside 13 bags which have been referred to the Criminal Evidences Department.

The customs department said that the smuggler must have chickened out at the last moment for fear of being caught and ‘disposed off’ the contraband.
